Toshio Yoshikawa opens "Yokado Clothing Store" at Tokyo Asakusa.


1945

Relocated from Tokyo Asakusa to Kitasenju after the store burned down in the war.

Ito-Yokado Co., Ltd. listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Ito-Yokado Co., Ltd. listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. York Seven Co., Ltd* established and a license agreement concluded with the US Southland Corporation.
